TAIE

TAIE stands for tools to access VTS and to increase the efficiency of VTS. On the recommendations of COST 301, two shared-cost research projects (RTIS and TAIE) were funded under EURET, the 2nd Framework Transport R & D Programme. TAIE developed tools to enhance and assess the efficiency of VTS. An important aspect of TAIE was developed on a case study in which a risk assessment for maritime traffic in the North Sea was performed.
